Gernika Network

The Gernika Network consists of people and organizations from all over the world. It was created in 1996 in order to encourage and support Peace Building oriented towards the achievement of reconciliation, the generation of consent in conjunction with positive peace.

 

Goals

  • Meeting point for organizations and people who work for peace.
  • Development of joint international projects.
  • To promote the exchange of professionals, academics and people in training (in practicum/interns).

  • Project "Identity and Conflict. Cultural Heritage and the Reconstruction of Identities after Conflict" (2008 - 2012) Programme Cooperation - Call ID FP7- SSH-2007-5.2.1 Histories and Identities - Articulating National and European identities.
