Diversity
Presentation
"The beauty of the rainbow lies in its different colours"
African proverb.
Diversity is evident on a local as well as a global level and it offers an opportunity to enrich Peace Building and the Peaceful Transformation of Conflicts based on the principal of equality of different cultures. Ignorance, little or no knowledge of other cultures, and inadequate or nonexistent communication generate conflicts that may require the integration of intercultural clues to facilitate their transformation. The interrelation and coexistence of people on a community level, without losing the global perspective, are key factors in the process of Peace Building.
