In 1996 Gernika Gogoratuz created the Red Gernika (Gernika Network) Collection in connection with Bakeaz, the Documentation Centre and Peace Studies. Included in this vast collection are our works, the fruit of the research of the Gernika Gogoratuz Assocation (Cava Mesa, 1996; Kasper 1998, Carrascosa, 2008) ranging from works of personal significance to those which are internationally known (Lederach, 1998, 2007; Galtung, 1998, 2003).
In 2007 there was an agreement to open the Red Gernika Collection to the Latin American market, making production with other organizations possible, and with the proposal to realize a Pedagogy of Peace through the work of John Paul Lederach.
Many people contributed their efforts in order to make this possible, including the author; el Centro Cristiano para la Justicia, Paz y accion Noviolenta Justapaz; el Programa conjunto desarrollado entre el Secretariado Nacional de Pastoral Social (SNPS); Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and the United Nations Programme for Development (UNPD)(PNUD) ; Bakeaz and Gernika Gogoratuz.
Collection Munduan Peace and Development
In 2003 Gernika Gogoratuz the Master de Cooperación Internacional Descentralizada Paz y Desarrollo (Master of Internacional Cooperation, Decentralized Peace and Development) of the Universidad del País Vasco-Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea promoted Peace and Development Collection from Around the World with the proposal to publish reference works in the field of International Relations.
