We wanted to design a page that would be accessible to as many users as possible, free from any personal or technological limitations. To achieve this goal, we have based our page on the application and observance of the guidelines for accessibility or General Principles of Accessible Design as set out by the work group WAI (Web Access Initiative) as pertains to the W3C (Consortium for the World Wide Web).
We have created the page following the XHTML 1.0 standards for web code and CSS-1, achieving a maximum separation between presentation and content.
