What do we mean by Peace

Peace means developing our human capacities in order to care about life, to satisfy our basic needs, both personal and collective, for well being, identy, and freedom. The understanding of Peace comes from one’s own cultural options in which the assumption of responsabilities in terms relationships based on equality, participation, solidarity and interdependance is cultivated in order to transform conflicts in a nonviolent and creative way.

Accordingly Peace is being proposed as an element which sets out on the human being in order to overcome the cycles of violence and it promotes the reconstruction of social fabric generating life in community with a vision of constructive social change that difies, effective and affectively, assymetries which marginalize, exclude and provoke violent action in any form.
