V LABORATORY OF ECONOMY OF PEACE / HUMAN RIGHTS AND BASQUE COMPANIES

V laboratorio de economia de paz

Organised by Gernika Gogoratuz in collaboration with EhuGune, REAS Euskadi, Economistas sin Fronteras and the Coordinadora de ONGDS de Euskadi.

PRESENTATION
The challenges that our world presents in areas such as climate change and the growth of inequalities, global pandemics and the war in Ukraine reveal the fragility of social, political and economic institutions to face them. It is necessary to undertake changes that allow for a progressive eco-social transition towards models that guarantee a more peaceful, sustainable and equitable future. In this scenario, the greatest difficulties arise when it comes to formulating changes in specific strategies and in the role that agents and institutions must play in these transformations.
