Recognition of the Permanent Social Forum

On the 21st of January, the Permanent Social Forum publicly acknowledged the work of Gernika Gogoratuz for its participation in peacebuilding and democratic co-existence in the Basque Country. The ceremony took place in Durango in a reunion with the public celebrating the summation of many years of work.

The Permanent Social Forum is a dynamic space involving different civil society organizations and private individuals. It aims to promote the Basque Peace Process and help to undo the cataclysmic consequences of the cycle of violence throughout the past years.
