From Gernika Gogoratuz and in collaboration with Gernikatik Mundura we present the ‘Proposal for a strategic economic and eco-social plan for Busturialdea-Urdaibai from civil society’, the most recent publication in the Gernika Network Collection.

It is a document of economic and eco-social proposals for the future of the region that has been shared with associations, groups and people from Busturialdea. To this effect, after an initial draft presented by Ramón Zallo Elgezabal, ideas and proposals have been contrasted in six sectorial meetings with groups and people from social, business, educational and institutional areas, refining issues and broadening views that have allowed two rich final documents to be finalised, which have been specified in the plenary session of groups of people and representatives in the Forum ‘The future of Busturialdea: Strategic Dialogues’, organised by Gernika Gogoratuz on 18 and 19 November 2024 at the Museum of the Basque Country in Gernika-Lumo.

The result is two collective documents published here. The first document is ‘A strategic economic and ecosocial plan for Busturialdea-Urdaibai from civil society’, and the second, ‘Twelve strong ideas for an integral economic and ecosocial planning of Busturialdea-Urdaibai’, a synthesis of the criteria of the first one.
