In early June, Gernika welcomed a delegation from Public Mediation Netherlands as part of their visit to the Basque Country to learn about experiences related to memory, democratic coexistence and peacebuilding.

Following a visit to the Gernika Peace Museum, Gernika Gogoratuz shared a methodological exchange session with the group. The session focused on experiences addressing the aftermath of political violence through listening, recognition and community dialogue, including MemoriaLab and Afalosteak.

The visit offered a valuable opportunity to exchange reflections with public mediation professionals from the Netherlands and to continue strengthening shared learning around peace, memory and coexistence.
