OPEN CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE INTERNATIONAL SUMMER CAMP FOR YOUNG PEOPLE.
Gernika Gogoratuz, partner of the project Venues of victims // Venues of perpetrators, presents the call for participation of young people (18-25 years old) from Croatia, Greece, Lithuania, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain and Germany in the international summer camp that will take place in Croatia from 15 to 28 August 2022.
The camp is part of the calendar of activities of the second phase of the project “Venues of victims // Venues of perpetrators. Mapping, decoding & processing the role of historical – civic education in (European) Youth Work” which started in 2018.

The programme will be conducted entirely in English.
CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
Are you interested in democracy, peace, human and environmental rights? Would you like to work with other young people on historical developments in the second half of the 20th century (e.g. political violence, arbitrariness and propaganda) and their effects today? What is the difference between the past and history? And what role do you actually play in all this?
We want to deal with these and other questions together with other young people from Croatia, Greece, Lithuania, Portugal, Slovenia, Germany and Spain – Basque Country during our summer camp in Croatia. In addition, there will be various excursions and leisure activities together!
Who? Young people between the ages of 18 and 25 who live in the Basque Country – Spain (half of the available spots will preferably be assigned to people residents in the area of Urdaibai/Busturialdea)
When? 15-28 August 2022
Where? Zagreb & Rijeka (Croatia)
How much? The participation fee (includes accommodation, meals and programme) is max. 150,00 EUR. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
