Peace is the Way is a documentary on the 25-year history of Gernika Gogoratuz.

Gernika Gogoratuz is a peace research centre established in 1987 by a unanimous decision of the Basque Parliament marking the 50th anniversary of the bombing of Gernika.

Gernika Gogoratuz is celebrating its twenty-fifth anniversary. We felt that, to mark this occasion, we could – indeed, we should – look back over its history alongside those who have participated in and/or led this project, which was conceived out of the conviction and hope that peace is the way forward, a right and a duty.
