On 24 September, the VIII Laboratory on Peace Economics, Human Rights and Basque Business will be held, organised by Gernika Gogoratuz in collaboration with EhuGune, Economists Without Borders and the Basque NGO Coordination Committee.

The event will take place at Bizkaia Aretoa, and registration is required to attend.

This edition is dedicated to care, structural violence and contemporary discontent. In addition, there will be discussion of the advances and setbacks in due diligence in the areas of human rights and corporate sustainability.

The programme runs from 9:00 to 14:30 and features the participation of Igor Ahedo (Coordinator of Ehugune UPV-EHU), María Oianguren (Director of Gernika Gogoratuz), Ainhoa Zugasti (Director of Human Rights and Victim Care for the Basque Government), Nerea Uriarte (President of the Basque Country NGDO Coordination Committee), Imanol Zubero Beaskoetxea (Doctor of Sociology and Diploma in Theology) and Iñaki García Maza (Psychologist specialising in community mental health), among others.
