The undersigned Basque public institutions and human rights and Colombia solidarity organisations denounce the threats received on 7 March by Indepaz (Institute for Development and Peace Studies), the CRIC (Regional Indigenous Council of Cauca), ACIN (Association of Indigenous Councils of Northern Cauca) and ACONC (Association of Community Councils of Northern Cauca), declaring them military targets by the Black Eagles’ South Western Bloc.

In addition, we express our strongest condemnation of the murder of community leader Miller Correa, ACIN councillor, who joins the 39 leaders murdered so far this year, 1,326 since the signing of the Peace Agreement in 2016.
