Liliana Zambrano, a researcher at Gernika Gogoratuz, took part in the International conference: Reclaiming Peace in an Era of Polarisation and Populism, organised by Corrymeela in Northern Ireland from 25 to 28 September.

The international gathering brought together local leaders and peace practitioners to explore which approaches or coalition-building strategies are perceived as most necessary to ensure that peacebuilding work remains legitimate and effective. Her contribution draws on her experience and work in peace praxis and shares the peace methodologies that Gernika Gogoratuz has been exploring and developing in the territories where it works: the Basque Country, Colombia and Mozambique.
