This study, which forms part of the project “Territorios en Conflicto”, was conducted by Miguel Antonio Espinosa Rico and Fernando Cruz Artunduaga with colaboration of Emérita Cuéllar Ibáñez.
Miguel Antonio Espinosa Rico holds a PhD in Geography at the National University of Colombia, based in Bogotá. He is Professor at the Department of Law and Social Science at the Faculty of Human Science and Arts at the University of Tolima (Columbia).
Espinosa Rico also forms part of the team “Grupo de Pensamiento Geográfico Crítico del Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales (CLACSO)” and coordinates interdisciplinary studies at the University of Tolima (Columbia) focusing on the “Yuma íma” territory.

Fernando Cruz Artunduaga holds a PhD in Moral Education and Democracy at the University of Barcelona (Spain) and is professor at the Department of Law and Social Science at the Faculty of Human Science and Arts at the University of Tolima (Columbia).
He is researcher on the team “Grupo Interdisciplinario de Estudios sobre el Territorio «Yuma íma»”at the University of Tolima and also collaborates as researcher with the Peace Research Center Gernika Gogoratuz.
